Just got a new computer, Vista and all and is definitely a wow from my point of view.

Ran Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Cad all at the same time = no problem.

Screen transition are so smooth I love it.

Plugged it in and it worked as advertised.

I love it!

Try downloading some music files legally and see how much you like the new walls and fences Microsoft has built into the system.

Vista? Yuck, once you go Mac you don't go back.

I put Vista on my home desktop and office computer... its okay so far, a lot more stable then xp I feel... but its only been a few weeks... but I love my Macs... I could go either way. I heard a lot of mac users are loading vista on their systems.

Speedy, I know you love your mac, but try running autocad on it - it won't happen very easily. The other isssue I have is, I just have too much invested in software and companies like adobe will not let you upgrade and switch platforms.

And despite all the critisims it's working great.

Ahh, not true, all new macs can run a PC operating system natively. With two clicks I can run vista in seconds. I have to have windows to browser test websites in PC internet explorer, which is the worlds worst browser, just behind netscape.

here's how fast switching between the two operating systems are.

Mac was smart enough not to allow osx to legally run on a pc, but windows can easily run on a mac.
