validator conversion for Rowe Changers

We finally had a nice day today here in Michigan and to my dismay I get to the car wash and both of my changers are down AGAIN!!!! I have had it with these Rowe validators. I have heard some rumblings that there is a conversion kit for the rowe changers. I have heard great things about the mars validators and I hope someone can point me in the right direction to find this conversion.

I should have the Rowe/Mars validator conversion kit in a couple of weeks. They are back ordered. They aren't cheap, they run around $800. I'll let you know more when I find out more.

I definitely want to get in touch with you when you get those validators in. I wish I had the $6000 for the hamilton drs that I want, but it just isnt in the cards. With the conversion kit, will it be all setup to accept the new fives? Also, does it replace the entire CCC of the rowe changer? Thanks for all your help.

There are a few kits by different companies. The cheapest ones only bypass the CCC by hitting the escrow buttons and can cause loss to the customer since it won't shut down the validator during payout. There's at least one kit that replaces everything but the hoppers and takes full control of payout so there's no chance of such loss. I don't know what Etowah Valley Equipment's conversion consists of, but knowing Jim he's licked the problem with a less expensive kit.

I would definitely like to get some specs on this kit before I decide to buy it. If these conversion kits can hold me over for about a year I will be sitting much better. Anybody with some more specific specs, please get a hold of me.
