Bay Closed Sign

Looking for a unique way of closeing a Bay down so people wont drive into it and then get mad and drive away when they see the closed sign on the coin drop.
I have thought of traffic cones but they would just get stolen. A chain with sign would surly get driven thru causing damage to cars. A saw horse with sign would get stolen also. What do you all do when a bay has to be shut down for repairs that will take a few days to order parts.
Thanks.......

Install a garage door and close it. Not unique but effective!

I use traffic cones. Yes, occasionally they get stolen by local teens, but they are cheaper than a garage door.

Maybe some crime scene tape? http://www.crimescene.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=34&gclid=CMmDqt7Ql5ICFQQIFQod7H-q7A

Then again maybe they will like to steal it?

Maybe other Barricade tapes http://nmcsafety.com/index.php?uid=rtch&parent_uid=13394&child_mpc=Y&tree0=BARRIER%20TAPES&tree1=PRINTED%20BARRICADE%20TAPES&treeuid0=13186&treeuid1=13394

I had to shut an entire wash down for two weeks and used crime scene-type caution tape. I had to replace it all three times over the two weeks because someone would deliberately break it to pull into the closed bay.

I pull one of my 30 gallon trash cans in front of the bay. Seems to work fine.

I keep a roll of yellow caution tape on hand. I have large eye screws on the sides of each bay - tie it across. They sometimes break the tape, but you can't stay there and watch it either. Shut the bay down, tape over the coin slot. If the tape is take off then the coins come back if you have a sensortron. Garage doors is overkill. Cones are Ok while you are there. I shut down my bays for over a week several years back to install new floor heat. Used caution tape and had no problems.

How about red tape saying “DANGER ASBESTOS”?
