Spring is in the air...
...that also means it is time to kick off fundraising season. This is my first spring as an owner and would like to introduce some different fundraisers to local groups in our area. I have had a few ideas but would love to hear what has worked in your area and your ss.

I've had an idea that we've never had a chance to implement: offering tokens to charities that they can give as a gift for donations. An example would be to give a packet of ten $1 tokens with a $10 donation, and maybe even combine it with a raffle where each donation gets them a chance of winning $100 in tokens.
Last week, we sold 200 - $10 washes for $5 each (prepaid $1,000) to a local high school band boosters. It's a lot easier for them to sell, than to actually wash. My base wash is $4.
I sent out letters to the boosters at my local schools and also to the athletic director. I wish I had an automatic so I could use tokenotes or something like that. All I have is tokens, so I will have to come up with something. Do you guys find that it is easier and better to sell tokens to groups rather than have an 'actual' fundraiser at the wash itself?
Great idea Jim!
High school band boosters, football, baseball, basketball and soccer teams would additionally be an excellent source to sell washes through. Set up a contest for whoever sells the most prepaid washes to receive a new bike or gift certificate, etc. Work out a deal with the local high schools.

we have had great success this time of year with the local baseball teams, you might want to call the local church leagues, boys club etc...also, we had a card designed from peeladeal.com 1)free $10 wash 5) other stickers with either $2 off out $12 wash or $2 off any wash, also (2) free rain-X stickers...there is $20 worth of coupons, they sell for $10 and keep $5....what we found is when someone finishes out their card we make between $40 and $50 in income, instead of getting one customer one time we get them 6 times and hopefully form a habit
