Bad Hydrominder??
So 3 of my products are feeding back into the drums, they all have check valves on the product lines... Somehow the valve coming off of the booster pump got turned on putting a lot of pressure on them, can this ruin a hydrominder? Not all of them on the line are doing this, even after turning off the booster pump valve it is still feeding back into the drum... any suggestions?

I think you are siphoning out of the bucket back into your drum....
Just drill a small hole in the hose from the barrel and it will break
the siphon once the bucket is filled. Otherwise it will siphon over
and over and overflow the barrel. This can happen even with with foot
valves.
If this booster pump is on the supply side of the Hydrominders, too much pressure there will only prevent the valves from opening. It won't cause water to siphon - only a failed foot valve in the chemical bucket can do that.
Larry is right, a hole in the drop tube off the Hydrominder, below the yellow or brown disc but above the water level, will prevent water from siphoning back to your product if a foot valve fails. You have two different problems that are causing one bad result.
Mine did the same thing, water is trickling back into the induction line. It would only happen overnight when the tunell was closed. We actually thought the the our yellow polish was seperating because the of waht the product looked like in the line. I took mine apart and cleansed the magnet and water valve inside and it helped for about 2 weeks and then started up agian. Hope everyone's washing we just had our seventh day open in a row! here in NH we are going from winter to a drought. Good luck
The pressure might of caused the foot valves to go bad...and if you have changed them and product is still leaking back make sure that product isnt leaking out betwwen the hose and foot valve, I like to put a zip-tie around the very end of the hose to make sure it is tight around the foot valve.
The pressure won't cause the foot valves to fail. The pressure never hits the foot valves. It would push the foot valve off the hose if it did.
I guess it was the foot valve, I put a new one on yesterday and it must have been a bad one... Put another new one on this morning and its fine! Thanks for the help!
Negative! I'm willing to assume you are running a Flo-Jet pump on this system? If the answer is "yes"; You have a pump that's gone bad...Foot-Valves are designed to eliminate gravity, not pressure. You've by-passed the problem; not fixed it! Keep an eye on it, I did the same thing!
cantfixstupid, no offense, but you don't have a clue. The pump drawing from the diluted chemical has absolutely nothing to do with the operation of the Hydrominder, including the siphon of diluted chemical into the concentrate pail. I repeat again, only a failed foot valve will let that happen.
