the glass in side view mirrors.

I don't know if anyone else have this problem, but we had few cars where JUST the GLASS in a side view mirror would pop out. I know "things" happen and there is no proof that there were damages done, but the cars where the glass would pop and break were all random. We had a customer who drives a 2007 G35 Infiniti, who comes once a week for 4-5 month now and his glass just popped out. I had another incident where it was a 99 Chevy Venture and the glass popped out and broke. Also had a 03 Cadillac Escalade glass broken couple weeks back.

Any hints or advice on what we can do to prevent it other than checking every vehicle which is time consuming and money wasting. I know most likely there were damages done to the car, or at least I thought so but I am not quite sure.

The only vehicle I've had were F150's. The brushes get between the mirror and housing, then pop the glass. Location glass company oders replacements and we install. Never done it to passenger car. Do you think you could have too much brush penetration (pressure)?

My air dryer blew a few out of some Impalas the air catches them rite and they don't fold in. Raised the side head up a little and no problems. we hooked up with a local glass company and they can get a template and cut it within minutes it's like 10 bucks glued back in too. but if it's heated your screwed on that one. Is your preppers blasting the hell out of them before they fold the mirror in let it go through the wash. The pressure from a gun will simply pop the glass rite out especially audi which are held by 3 small clips.
