Slow times around school
we are in our second year and noticed last year, when school started back in august, that our numbers dropped quite a bit for about a month, then went back to normal...this year we have experienced the same slow-down right after school got out for the summer (may 30th)...does this time effect anyone else? we are hoping that is the reason for the low numbers the past few days

I have witnessed the same thing at most locations here in So Calif. The "best" answer I have heard for this is a combination of two reasons. First is the simple fact that kids are out of school and it disrupts the everday routine for a few weeks. Second is it is the first chance for vacations. Usually there is a similiar drop at the end of August or beginning of September as it is the last chance for vacations and the everyday routine is unbalanced.

It happens every year and I agree with Danny. In addition, at least in CO here, those months also come around the season changes which affect weather. I think that when things slow down there are more than one factor and the opposite is true, when times are good there is more than one factor.
