Dodge Caliber Antenna
I've had two Dodge Caliber antennas get caught in either my grill brush or side brush in the last week. The antennas become permenantly curled at the top and it damages the fender each time. These are narrow vehicles but have the base right on the edge. The antenna appears thinner at the top than other single piece whips....maybe that's the cause.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I'll be posting this on the ICA Damage control board.

Last year, one time. I have seen several that are bent as you show. It's hard to say but as some point I treat it as a pre existing condition and thats why it gets "caught" in the material. It can also happen with newer dodge vehicles besides the caliber. It was a very expensive fix also.
No previous condition on the last one...I watched it go through two sets of wraps no problem..so it had to be my grill brush or side brush. I've now set my primary arm on the grill brush to retract on every vehicle after it cleans the front bumper. Maybe that will stop it. thx...
