Well Wednesday was the day I tore out my worn out to the max D88 Chain and rollers and replaced it with a X458 and air conversion kit! Very nice to go a day with out several roller jams!

Congrats! Always fun when its christmas at the carwash, i love new toys!
several jams a day can easily raise your stress level more than it should, i remember back in my octopus days, we had a very old conveyor that jammed A LOT. what a nightmare...have fun!
Make sure you have a come along to help when the chain does need some work. Also I have found it to help if I use 2 smalle sections of chain with hooks on each end of the chain and then attach the come along to both chains. I have used x458 for over 25 years, you should be very happy with the new chain.

This is good advice. Depending on the length of the conveyor it is usually good to keep a 4ton come along and a 2ton. For longer conveyors or holding the chain for a longer period of time a 2ton is generally not heavy duty enough.
