Hello all, I am purchasing this carwash and haven't been able to figure out who the manufacture of the touchless automatic is. It has to automatic bays. Also would like to have a few opinions of the quality of wash it provides. Thanks-Kevin

4 companies I know that make that type are:

1. Hydrospray
2. Magic Wand
3. Bearcat Equipment
4. Southern Pride

Problem I see with this is that it doesn't size the vehicle. And it has spinners. A brand new Superior Side Trac 700 is less than $65,000. Superior was the only manufacturer in a recent trade mag to offer a list price for equipment. Kudos, Superior. I don't sell this equipment but own one that I'm very happy with.

Hi Kevin,

No doubt, those babies are ancient in the world of touch free IBA carwashing. Looks like a southern pride turbo wash, but previous poster gave you many other options and I can't say that I've seen any of these in the field in my area.

I have always been fascinated by those "twirling wands of death" that those things have. It's hypnotic, you find yourself staring into it, then before you know it it's decapitated you.

Seriously, I don't know what revenue those units produce but touch free wash quality has come a long way since these were designed. I don't know your situation, but if the site is good I would likely pull at least one out and install a sizing automatic with wheel cleaning capabilites. ( Water Wizard, Mark VII, Oasis, etc. )

Thanks for the info all, I confirmed them to be hydrospray units today, the bays are only 26.5 deep and I was hoping to replace one of them with a soft touch unit but don't think there is one that will fit.? Any ideas?

If you have the room it would be best for you to extend those bays out a little further.

What is the max length of vehicle that machine can wash? Can it wash a crew cab pickup?

I have a facility with 3 laserwash g5's with onboard dryers. Because of site limitations we were only able to make the bays 30'2" and that includes doors with 3 inch hardward. It's tight... real tight but we can pretty much any passenger vehicle or truck on the road today.
