One of my Lasers was dealing me a fit today. No sooner I get something fixed on it, and something else totally not related would go wrong. I fixed four different things on it today. I'm sure glad I was there. Oh, I got a call from a concerned customer that said last Sunday as he was driving OUT of one of my other washes, he said a bird got sucked into the dryer and threw blood and feathers all over his car. He was very serious. It was all I could do to keep from laughing.

They seem to either run perfectly or the gremlins get in there and stay for a few days. Last weekend all my undercarriage plumbing decided to come off the inside wall of the equipment room. I went to pull everything back up to resecure it and broke a metal elbow, had to tear it all down and luckily Lowes has a pipe cutting/threading machine. Got her back together again. Waiting for what's next. Maybe I'll get the SOB paid for before the whole thing craters, but I have my doubts.

Today I had a Lexair changeover valve on the pumpstand go bad. I rebuilt it but it seems the little brass threaded post that threads into the white plastic washer breaks way too often.

I agree with the stud that breaks too easily and too often. Usually that's all I end up using is the new stud from the rebuilt kit. How's your air pressure to your change over?

I had it at 110 lbs, up from about 80 when it was new. I have sinnce lowered it back to 90.

You're lucky you found them, sometimes they get swallowed up never to be seen again. I can usually flush them out by turning the pump on for just a second. I don't really know why they couldn't be hardened stainless? They might never break and one less part to sell over and over I guess?

Someone on ACF posted that washworld has just quit selling to the end user, now only through their distributor network. Is that true? I know that we do now have a local distributor here in town.

No thats NOT true Greg. Not good info.
