All clean and tucked away, It's 5 oclock somewhere, Enjoying a few beers,
Can you give me some information on the machine you're using to clean the pits? I've been looking for something like that, but have yet to find anything.
It looks like a ring-o-matic. Great machine. I've had one for around 18 years and would not know what to do without it. If you've got many bays to do, it's a real time saver. You can also pay for it cleaning the competition pits. Hey, you can't own all the washes, but you can make money off of them.
I can't seem to get a straight answer out of the local waste disposal facility regarding pit waste. Some people consider it contaminated, but once it's dried its just solid waste. Yet some places say they won't take it. Has anyone had experience dealing with waste facilities taking pit waste?
I would bet you need to find a farmer that will let you spread it on his land. Here in Kansas its considered HASMAT :(
White shorts!!!! I have had to throw away my socks after most pit cleaning work. You could go to church after you're finished!
We are now using a ringomatic vacuum trailer in our tunnels. I'll try to post some pics of the process like you did. Thanks for posting.
