Is everyone happier with the new new design? Any feedback to report?

I still prefer "classic" forum layouts where you can see at a glance threads with new posts since your last visit and can click to go to the newest unread post within a thread.

I don't like being forced to enter a ZIP code. Evidently "12345" is in Schenectady, NY.

The "Whose Talking" is irritating. (It should be "Who Is" or "Who's")

Hi Allan: design is OK. But more important is the content of the forum. Im very happy to be part of this. And as I said once, THANKS ALL YOU GUYS FOR SHARE ALL THE INFORMATION ,and for your HELP when needed.

I think it is looking great! This isn't your standard message board, it has become the myspace/facebook of car washing! Thanks Allan for the hard work from you and your staff!

Love it.

Need to check your rss feeds on News tab. All I see are cwguy news?
I would list on that header, where you are getting feeds.

In your exhibit section, I would add to the header, instructions to "click on company name to enter booth". Love the free advertizing.

Don't reduce the font size anymore...got to use my bifocals now.

Maybe one day you'll have radar and satellite feeds available for us to pick our own and see here. But the forecasts you've got seem pretty current.

It would be nice if we could have different fonts(colors) available for our posts.

I'd like to see a member's only section with a map that would blow up each state and place access to member profiles geographically on that graphic. You could browse the country and see where everyone is from. Hey, you might get a flat tire in someone's hometown and need help one day. I've been helped by car wash buddies when out of town several times and vica versa.

Don't clutter this site up with education materials, leave that up to the ICA and regionals.

Feature a member profile on the home page once a month.

Is that enough suggestions?

I just joined "facebook" and some of my children are embarassed. That'll teach them there's no place to hide from me.

I have a suggestion after reading a recent post, perhaps a page where all users with a link to their car wash's web site would be displayed.

Maybe a few survey questions here and there... im sure there are a lot of users that log on and don't reply to a lot of the discussions like the one we have going on about the economy, gas prices and the effect on our business...It would be nice to see a percentage of what operators are seeing at their wash, example (Volume is up sales are down, volume is down sales are down... and so on) Just a thought

MEP1...that would be a good idea for a new thread...I think I'll start one.
If someone is proud of their website, they probably would put it in their profile here. You can look at anyones profile by clicking on their pic.

I think there should be a discussion group just for the crazy things that happen at a car wash. Call it: "You Can't Fix Stupid" or "Here's your sign"

"The car wash didn't start because you centered the treadle under your car and dragged the wash arm over your hood and roof...here's your sign."

Had a problem that some others may be experiencing. I couldn't view any new posts until I went into my internet options folder > browsing history settings and changed my preferences to "automatically check for newer versions". I'm running XP. I had my settings on "never check".

You could leave a reply if you were logged in.
