Curious about central vac
I am adding an after care area to my exterior wash, and am working with vacutech, i'm looking at their arches and canopy as well as central vac equipment. Anyone else using this system? Any comments on it?

He's got it at one of his locations. I think he's happy.
I have the island pal setup and love it. All my pvc is underground, which is okay because there is only air going thru the pvc. No sand or dirt to clog it or work as a sandblaster on the plastic. I'm not sure if it works on the same principal as the vacutech setup, but if it does, its an awesome vac system. I have not had a problem with it since the day I installed it over 10 years ago. I have 8 double hose stations with two vac producers.
I know several people who have vacutech and all are happy. They are made right up the road from me here in Colorado. I have had the island pal system like 33 East for over two years now and have not had one day down with the system. My system has VFD panels on the turbines to alternate between them and control if I need to run one or both. I do like the backup of a second turbine just in case one fails I will not be without a system completly, most vacutech systems come with one turbine.
I had an old Hanna producer that I got cheap when I went from EE to a FS in 2003. It last about 2 years when I began to go FLEX and needed to move the producer to the other side of my building (about a 75' run) to make more lanes for vacuuming. Then I bought a rebuilt vacutec producer at a great price ($3000).
